Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

Went to the Dominion Cinema in Edinburgh (one of 2 remaining independent cinemas in the capital) tonight with Lucy and number 2 daughter Maddi (13, who is a walking encyclopedia on all things Potter) for the first viewing of the film of book 5. Enjoyed the movie, some good performances from the grown-ups (Imelda Staunton, Jason Isaacs) and quite plot based rather than action based. Could definitely see it again.

My sister-in-law Sharon reckons the movie franchise turns us all into uncles and aunts - "Aw, haven't they grown so much since we last saw them..."!

Couldn't understand why the cinema didn't have their usual free drink organised tonight, normally if you go for the leather recliners or the sofas you get the free Pringles AND a free drink!
